Imagination and foil

= fun

Hey!
Wondering where I've been? Under no rock, I can assure you. Just not blogging, that's all.
Can't really get to sleep right now, so I might as well be doing something remotely productive - like blogging (productive?).

I bought Manchester Orchestra's new lil' album today, and was happy. Not surprised, really.. but happy. I heard a couple of tracks online before I bought it and I have to say, there probably my favourites of theirs thus far (in 'Virgin' and 'Simple Math'). The rest of it is a bit 'blah' at the moment, but like the rest of their stuff - it will probably grow on me with a few more listens.

Andy Hull: take a bow.

I'm finding I haven't really been listening to the radio at all in the past year or so, and only listening to bands that I already like. Set in my ways? I'm not sure. But I can't really find much new music to get into lately.

Saw a Stanley Kubrick blu-ray collection today for $85. Had all the classics that you'd expect to see there, but I should probably be saving up. The holidays are just round the corner though...

My birthday's coming up ;)
